Three families from three different level of society are involved in an accident. Art dealer Trevor and his best friend Dante, an Italian/American fashion photographer, holiday in Capri where they both fall for Antonia, a local beauty. One of them marries her. Back in London Antonia is last seen in Regent's Park walking her Jack Russell terrier. The remains of a female body are recovered from Regent's Canal, and both her husband and his best friend are suspects in what increasingly appears to be a murder. This fast-moving story travels backwards in time. Exploration of the mystery of Antonia's fate follows twists and turns as hair-raising as the roads on the mountainous isle of Capri. The audience is ushered to the astonishing ending, proving along the way that the deepest mystery of all is that of the soul torn between desire and loyalty.

牧江(jiāng )村郊野(yě )山藏有(yǒu )一怪，赤面獠牙，名曰垃圾人，他身世神秘，以垃圾为食(shí )，日遇(yù )村妇马(mǎ )秀娟(🗽)，将其掳(lǔ )掠。马(mǎ )秀娟通过与垃圾人的交(🌿)往(wǎ(🕝)ng )，发现(🚝)(xiàn )他(🕑)虽丑(🏰)(chǒu )陋(👍)骇人(😏)(rén )，却(💻)心(xī(🍔)n )地单(👘)纯(chú(🥔)n )。但天不遂人愿，“单纯”的垃圾人却将马秀娟(🏖)视(shì(💖) )为配(📦)偶(ǒ(🐱)u )，囚于(🚲)(yú )废(🧐)弃厂(🈲)(chǎng )房(🍸)。矿(kuà(🔥)ng )山老(😔)板(bǎ(🌦)n )徐东南徐西北两兄(xiōng )弟欲借(jiè )炸山除(chú )垃圾人(rén )之名在(zài )野山非(fēi )法拓矿，全然不顾马秀娟安危。而垃圾人通过马秀(🖥)(xiù )娟逐渐(jiàn )了解人(rén )类的尊(zūn )重与爱(à(🔭)i )，遂将(🤥)(jiāng )其(🥦)放归(🎤)牧江(🕷)村。马(🍫)秀娟(🍅)得(dé(🍯) )知徐(💵)东(dō(🐀)ng )南阴(😬)谋(móu )后为救(jiù )垃圾人(rén )与之抗(kàng )争，最终(🤮)被绑(🐷)于山(🔷)上，垃(🐪)圾人(☕)为救(🍆)马秀(🎹)娟与(🏢)徐东(📃)南(ná(👯)n )死命(🏳)相(xiàng )搏，后(hòu )被徐东(dōng )南炸死(sǐ )。环保(bǎo )组织声明垃圾人出(chū )现乃牧(mù )江村的(de )环保意(yì )识薄弱(ruò )之恶果(guǒ )，垃圾人本无(😱)罪，罪在人心对环境的态度，并呼吁(yù )民众(♐)善(shà(🏞)n )待环(🍝)境(jì(🌟)ng )。
